North Palm Beach County boasts the best weather, the best beaches ... and now the best biomedical research institute in the country. Put all this together and it is easy to see why people are coming to Palm Beach County in record numbers.
North Palm Beach County provides opportunities across a range of industry areas. Implant Innovations (dental implant manufacturer) and Anspach Companies (develops/manufactures high-speed instrumentation for orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and neurologists) are just a few of the bioscience-related companies that have either corporate headquarters or large interests in the Palm Beach Gardens area. With the emergence of The Scripps Research Institute in Palm Beach County, this industry sector is only expected to grow and flourish.
And we must not forget Pratt & Whitney (world leader in design and manufacture of aircraft engines, gas turbines and space propulsion systems), Sikorsky (the first name in helicopters—military and civil) and Florida Power & Light, which are some of the area’s largest employers. These large employers have also spawned an ever-growing sector of engineering-related companies both large and small that now boast an expertise from civil to aeronautics.

Follow baseball? Then you know that the St. Louis Cardinals and Florida Marlins hold spring training at Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa right here in Jupiter.
Need more action? Try deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking or water skiing.
Interested in the arts? We are home to several regional theatres and host the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival—ranked as one of the top 50 art festivals in the United States.
And let’s not forget shopping and dining. The Gardens Mall now boasts Nordstom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s. Add to that the new Downtown at the Gardens with its dozens of restaurants and retail shops.
