What is a ribbon-cutting?
A ribbon-cutting is a free publicity opportunity and valuable marketing tool for your business. Ribbon-cuttings commemorate your grand opening, groundbreaking or open house with a photograph in the Chamber's weekly e-newsletter. Ambassador Committee members are invited to attend, along with you and your guests.

When are ribbon-cuttings conducted?
Ribbon-cuttings are conducted Monday - Thursday in the early morning or late afternoon. Attendance will vary based on the time and day. We do not schedule ribbon-cuttings on Friday-Sunday. Note: Reservations are typically booked 2-3 months in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What do I provide for a ribbon-cutting?
Please provide a copy of your invitation and a contact for RSVP's to ensure an accurate headcount. We also ask that you provide light refreshments for those attending. Suggestions: donuts & coffee for morning or beverages & cheese and crackers for afternoon.
