One of the largest family festivals in northern Palm Beach County, TurtleFest 2009 is currently seeking volunteers. TurtleFest, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center's signature event will be Saturday, April 25 from 10 am - 7 pm at Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach. Volunteers ages 16 and older are needed to work various shifts at the FREE community event. Volunteers who work a minimum 3 hour shift will receive community service hours, a complimentary TurtleFest 2009 t-shirt and free food and drink. E-Quality of Life Foundation and Palm Beach County School District is hosting a "Penny a Push" Ribbon Cutting at Duncan Middle School, Palm Beach Gardens  April 7th from 11:20am to 1:20pm. A 'pilot' program  called  'Penny a Push' will begin on April 7th, at Watson B. Duncan Middle school in Palm Beach Gardens.  "Penny a Push" project, seeks to install at least one automatic door opener in every public school by 2011, starting in Palm Beach County.
